Who discovers the neighborhood wolves living in the woods of Mercy Falls. She gets attacked when she is little but then falls in love with one of the yellow eyed wolves and then also discovers his shocking secret. I loved this book because of Its full of suspense and it always keeps you wondering whats going to happen next. Its not that long but it makes up for a good read. This story will open your mind to new imagination’s and different worlds.13bd13http://www.blogger.com/profile/00556414638407201280noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911886978370139305.post-35772398846998449172010-11-30T07:36:00.000-08:002010-11-30T07:43:20.544-08:00World AIDS day<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7Kfh-ElAOXVLj55L4WvoZEUXuLOWo8ldDQhvTXVkQEc6-UTn7oKyBLWAIsuLN06XPr_I6SOQq5d4_mwNh2PKxVnF2Cpjqk-3im3et_jCUEpFGNDTyBlddx-yzPWHyiyhZwYw5UCExtNI/s1600/keep_a_child_alive.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 190px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7Kfh-ElAOXVLj55L4WvoZEUXuLOWo8ldDQhvTXVkQEc6-UTn7oKyBLWAIsuLN06XPr_I6SOQq5d4_mwNh2PKxVnF2Cpjqk-3im3et_jCUEpFGNDTyBlddx-yzPWHyiyhZwYw5UCExtNI/s320/keep_a_child_alive.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5545368672864584914" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'lucida grande';color:#FF0000;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; line-height: 18px; font-size:large;"><b>5 facts about AIDS</b></span></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; color: rgb(255, 0, 0); line-height: 18px; "><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'lucida grande';"><br /></span></span></b></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; color: rgb(255, 0, 0); line-height: 18px; "><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'lucida grande';">AIDS is caused by infection with the human immunodeficiency virus, or HIV. Instead of the people of that country being able to speak there minds and peacefully protest they get killed for standing up for the rights they want, but cannot have. You should be able to live your life how you want not being controlled by someone you don't know. These prisoners of concience are forced to abide by the rules of the myanmar government. Each day they make fun and think that the "three free freedoms" is a bad thing and shouldn't ever be aloud. The people damanding freedom will never get to live in a good free country.13bd13http://www.blogger.com/profile/00556414638407201280noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911886978370139305.post-27126191465737052602010-06-14T08:19:00.000-07:002010-06-14T08:26:38.827-07:00Thrilling<a href="http://flickrcc.bluemountains.net/index.php?terms=summer&page=2&edit=yes&com=no"></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgM-5ji_VZddgpPt2SECNiiloTVAL9CiqaKocJO1qM6Cbmih3OCXerjD9SEaNr2hkwDEm3fmtD70ln3sasyCXHohu_gVziiRef83Ze1-xQDtf_v_Ozleg4Hjgh_vHEwU69Vvkm20d7vliM/s1600/3667366832_7a8017c528_m.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 180px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgM-5ji_VZddgpPt2SECNiiloTVAL9CiqaKocJO1qM6Cbmih3OCXerjD9SEaNr2hkwDEm3fmtD70ln3sasyCXHohu_gVziiRef83Ze1-xQDtf_v_Ozleg4Hjgh_vHEwU69Vvkm20d7vliM/s320/3667366832_7a8017c528_m.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5482651007462395010" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><br /></span><b><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#CC33CC;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"> </span></span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#CC33CC;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">This year in this class has been really fun. They had lots of details like ruffles and bows, buttons and they can be worn to work or to a date. Question #1. Do we wear things they wore in the 1930's in our holds? The answer to that question is no. People now a days don't really wear dresses to work sometimes they do but never at home on a regular basis. Question #2. What kind of hats did they wear and are the similar ? The kind of hats that they wear and not very popular now. Because they have made more popular different hats. The hats they had were head hugging snug hats that were very popular that were soft and slim. Question #3. What kind of coats did they wear? The coats they wore were two piece suites. The suits looked like men wore them but they did have some feminine touches to them like flattering bright colors on the linings and had some shapes too. </p>13bd13http://www.blogger.com/profile/00556414638407201280noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911886978370139305.post-14275392361376157632010-02-12T07:34:00.000-08:002010-02-12T07:36:15.868-08:00Poetry friday<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFu7AboC4fgHc_KqUZ8yWMx9RmqPBvIva4wVuiQaIgNP8ekId-tnxGq4Rb6OKf1uZjrZnz2WMWe66tMtwa7yYP1n_xKkQy0lf4F4YqfJCx0jldK6nuEtAnyAitWFFSlAzgB6ravvil-44/s1600-h/100_1582.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFu7AboC4fgHc_KqUZ8yWMx9RmqPBvIva4wVuiQaIgNP8ekId-tnxGq4Rb6OKf1uZjrZnz2WMWe66tMtwa7yYP1n_xKkQy0lf4F4YqfJCx0jldK6nuEtAnyAitWFFSlAzgB6ravvil-44/s320/100_1582.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5437381085158587986" /></a>13bd13http://www.blogger.com/profile/00556414638407201280noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911886978370139305.post-68843145682917707082010-01-22T07:36:00.000-08:002010-01-22T08:01:12.650-08:00Gay marriage<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.freefoto.com/images/41/11/41_11_59---Stop-USA-Road-Sign_web.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 600px;" src="http://www.freefoto.com/images/41/11/41_11_59---Stop-USA-Road-Sign_web.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br />I would like to talk about gay marriage. I think that this is a very important topic, and I think that it is very wrong. I belive that when god made a man and a woman he intendid to keep it that way, they should be able to have a relationship and do whatever they want but they shouldn't be able to get married. The thing that bothers me the most is what if your kids or mine (in the future) grow up and think it's okay and it would just be fun to have same sex marriage and have relationships when they are very young. Even though I do know some people and some friends that don't believe what i believe I'm not going to ever not speak up for what I think is right.13bd13http://www.blogger.com/profile/00556414638407201280noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911886978370139305.post-25764567636301643132010-01-22T07:14:00.000-08:002010-01-22T07:30:10.833-08:00When disaster strikes.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/haiti/gfx/titlephoto2.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 470px; height: 300px;" src="http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/haiti/gfx/titlephoto2.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br />Wow, what do I think about Haiti...Well I think it's a terrible thing that has happened in this world, there has been many similar disasters in other countries but this one really hit me. Just to think about what it would be like to live there and have to go through losing your home, your family or your life. I want to help and make a difference in these people's lives. When you see how bad all of the pictures are, It just stunned me and made me realize how fortunate I am and all the things I have. I think it's great how America is making a huge impact on Haiti, I was reading a story about a newborn baby in critical condition, and a doctor in Haiti insisted on bringing her to America. That's how I want it to be I want our country to help others in need and it is. I am very proud of where I live.13bd13http://www.blogger.com/profile/00556414638407201280noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911886978370139305.post-51755582951399590392010-01-22T06:51:00.000-08:002010-01-22T07:13:31.141-08:00I am the pig<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.psychologytoday.com/files/u45/sad_man.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 350px; height: 348px;" src="http://www.psychologytoday.com/files/u45/sad_man.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;">I am the pig<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">and you are the wolf<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">waiting at the door<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">to gobble me up<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">and chew on my bones<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">then spit me out<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">and nobody is big enough<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">or see's enough<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"> to keep it from happening.<br /><div style="text-align: left;"><div style="text-align: center;">By: Ann Turner<br /></div><br />This poem reminds me of the book we read in English class in was called <span style="font-style: italic;">Speak</span>. I think it relates to speak because of the words like I am the pig, I think that it means that she or he is helpless and nobody can see or help. Melinda Sordino is the main character in speak, she is very shy and doesn't have a lot of friends, this boy named Andy, tortures her at school and ruins her reputation. He lurks in the hallways like she is his prey, and nobody notices. This poem is amazing.<br /></div></div>13bd13http://www.blogger.com/profile/00556414638407201280noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911886978370139305.post-60336915958193103502010-01-22T05:55:00.000-08:002010-01-22T06:51:20.547-08:00Haiti<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://tomorrowmuseum.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/haiti.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 450px; height: 338px;" src="http://tomorrowmuseum.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/haiti.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">Today I read</span><a style="font-family: verdana;" href="http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/21/world/americas/21haiti.html"> an article</a><span style="font-family:verdana;"> about the Haiti earthquake and how it affected people there. Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the world, and on top of that they have just had a horrible earthquake. Haiti is about the size of Maryland. Because of all the damage this earthquake has left thousands of people homeless and dead. Because of the way there houses and shelters were built they could not withstand the earthquake. Nothing really could withstand the earthquake, but many people try to help. Even tho there is Americans helping there is still a large amount of people dieing from diseases and untreated wounds, they don't have the proper tools to survive and take care of these diseases. There are lots of kids, babies, and adults getting rushed to the United States and airlifted, many children cant get treated there for serious conditions, that's why</span> <span style="font-family: verdana;">America is one of the best places they will go to get help for there conditions. </span>13bd13http://www.blogger.com/profile/00556414638407201280noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911886978370139305.post-59541943077009019572010-01-11T06:54:00.000-08:002010-01-11T07:04:54.545-08:00My opinion<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://greatdebate2008.wikispaces.com/file/view/Death-Penalty-Peri-Lithwick-horizontal.jpg/39364472/Death-Penalty-Peri-Lithwick-horizontal.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 600px; height: 396px;" src="http://greatdebate2008.wikispaces.com/file/view/Death-Penalty-Peri-Lithwick-horizontal.jpg/39364472/Death-Penalty-Peri-Lithwick-horizontal.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br />I think that if a man or woman has comitted a murder then they should face the death penalty in Maine. However, if there isn't a lot of proof that a person has murdered another than i would want them to get all the facts and if that person is truley guilty then i would want them to face the death penalty. But if the murderer says that it was all in self defense than i think that they should put all the evidence together, god made us for a reason, to live, but if people are being murdered, the murderers should be killed. It's only fair. I also think it should be enforced in all states of America.13bd13http://www.blogger.com/profile/00556414638407201280noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911886978370139305.post-36498757944321919472010-01-07T07:28:00.000-08:002010-01-22T07:32:00.810-08:00GUILTY.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://votingfemale.files.wordpress.com/2009/12/handcuffs.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 327px; height: 303px;" src="http://votingfemale.files.wordpress.com/2009/12/handcuffs.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 102);"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'trebuchet ms';">I think that Steve is guilty because of all the clues that he is leaving for us. I'm not trying to make people feel bad for me but if I was put in jail for something I did or something I wasn't even involved with I could not stand to not see outside and to not see my brothers and sisters. I would especially miss my family and all it has to offer. I mean what if I was in jail for that long and my mother or father died? I don't think I could bare it. Nothing in the world could ever replace my family. I would also miss out on everything, college, being married having kids. Even being an aunt. I can't even think of how scared I would be. Over time it would change me, I would be a different person. If I had been charged with murder or even robbery, I can't think of what my little sisters would think of me and how that would reflect on their lives.13bd13http://www.blogger.com/profile/00556414638407201280noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911886978370139305.post-67581739895373732652009-12-18T07:10:00.000-08:002009-12-18T07:36:48.970-08:00He.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1DNFUz3yGhjyky7s_HfjMzmrKxTNoR5G_PB2r-sEbh3NnKgLFXzIgiC1XDtpqx_FFjkbd10XchJprC81vb01oxKL_91w4SRpctGVa7CbMK94FtFHC9jViXpDwEzOGFb0AeCWonnJDw0w/s1600-h/gumbo5.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 239px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1DNFUz3yGhjyky7s_HfjMzmrKxTNoR5G_PB2r-sEbh3NnKgLFXzIgiC1XDtpqx_FFjkbd10XchJprC81vb01oxKL_91w4SRpctGVa7CbMK94FtFHC9jViXpDwEzOGFb0AeCWonnJDw0w/s320/gumbo5.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5416598989699898546" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center; color: rgb(153, 51, 153);font-family:verdana;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">He.</span><br />He Belive's<br />she disagrees<br />Steve.<br />He's in jail.<br />She says he robbed.<br /><span style="font-style: italic;">Monster</span>.<br />He says shes wrong<br />Shes in his face<br />there he waits<br />pen and paper.<br />Steve.<br />awaiting his verdict<br />on trial for murder<br />Steve.<br />looking to find a way.<br /><br /><br /></div>13bd13http://www.blogger.com/profile/00556414638407201280noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911886978370139305.post-87874493608920767932009-12-10T07:31:00.001-08:002009-12-10T07:44:30.615-08:00Tulip<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://lunchfirst.factandfable.com/editable/image/red%20tulip%20alone%20intimate.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 255px; height: 240px;" src="http://lunchfirst.factandfable.com/editable/image/red%20tulip%20alone%20intimate.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(204, 51, 204); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: none; font-family: 'lucida grande', fantasy; ">Nobody heard about the tulip that grew</span></a><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'lucida grande';"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#CC33CC;"> in silence popping up out of the green grass</span></span><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'lucida grande';"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#CC33CC;"> alone proving nature's law </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'lucida grande';"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#CC33CC;"> in the field breathing the new found breeze </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'lucida grande';"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#CC33CC;"> long live the tulip changing alone</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'lucida grande';"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#CC33CC;"> as the rain seeps through the grass </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'lucida grande';"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#CC33CC;"> </span></span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'lucida grande';"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#CC33CC;">it grows</span></span></div></div>13bd13http://www.blogger.com/profile/00556414638407201280noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911886978370139305.post-43056270340901910812009-12-10T07:04:00.000-08:002009-12-10T07:25:25.164-08:00Monster Vocab<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://socialjusticenow.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/world-connect-people-community-international.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 354px; height: 162px;" src="http://socialjusticenow.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/world-connect-people-community-international.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><div><div>What we did was we worked in partners and we each got a vocab word. When we got our word which was community we had to define the word and act it out. We thought of a town or a state, like our community has lots of people. We also thought of people gathering around and interacting. We also had to act out what our word was and everybody in our classroom had to guess what our word was based on what we did but we couldn't talk. </div><div><br /></div><div> The book we are reading is called <i>Monster.</i> It's about a boy who is accused of murder.
